Logie Durno Officer

Officer is in our opinion one of the best Charollais we have ever seen, he has everything a good Carollais should have including excellent carcase, fleshing and shoulder whilst also having tremendous length, a tight skin and is very correct on his legs. He has a masculine head with plenty of cover without being overly strong in the front shoulder.

He also has the breeding to match the looks, his dam Kate was Champion of Champions at the RWAS show in 2012 and has bred incredibly well with only 3 sons being sold from her they have made 2,600gns, 2,000gns and 1,900gns. Officer's sire is Loanhead Midas Touch who won the progeny class at this years Premier sale and is out of the 4,200gns Dalby Hyacinth. He is a full brother to My Fair Lady who won Champion of Champions at the RWAS in 2013 and a maternal brother to Monarch of the Glen who was Champion at the Premier sale in 2013 and made the top price of 5,600gns.

Fortunately not only does Officer have the looks but he also has the performance to back it up with an index 0f 394 placing him in the top 5% of the breed. Officer has already got himself off to a succesfull show career winning first prize ram lamb on all three occasions this year and also winning the Interbreed ram lamb Competition at the RWAS 2014 beating over 40 other breeds.
