Royal Welsh Interbreed Pairs Champion 2015

Logie Durno Sheep prove triumphant again, winning an Interbreed Championship for the fourth year running at the biggest livestock show in Europe.
On Tuesday the Logie Durno flock took both the Champion and Reserve in the Charollais section. Winning with Logie Durno Officer. Reserve Champion was Loanhead My Fair Lady, who was the Interbreed Champion of Champions at the Royal Welsh show in 2013.
On Wednesday LDS then went on to win the Interbreed pairs competition against 50 other breeds. The Judge Mr Tudor R Harris commented that the pair of LD Charollais could be the best pair of sheep in Europe.
On Thursday LDS and the Ingram family were awarded the prestigious Shepherd`s Competition in memory of Ronald and Sue Jones. This prize is awarded to the person who has shown animal husbandry through the week, stockmanship, presentation and success in the ring. The Ingram family felt very honoured to recieve this award.
