A fantastic day was had at Welsh Sheep 2015, getting the chance to talk with a lot of old and new faces who work with Logie Durno Sheep.
What a brilliant venue for the event really showing off what Welsh sheep farming has to offer, and a great opportunity to unveil our two new breeds in Wales.
The FRONTEIRA - An exciting new breed with Logie Durno Texel and BFL genetics. Ideal for the Welsh hill breeds creating a great female for retaining or selling. With positive feedback from farmers there, commenting on how fronteiras really would fit into their systems.
The DURNO BELTEX - Composite between the Durno and Beltex. There was a huge hype over the launch of this breed, due to its compatibility with Mule and Mule cross ewes.
Orders were made at the event for the 2015 ram season, delivery can be assisted throughout the UK
