Logie Durno Sheep leads at British Premier Charollais Sale

LDS Secured the top Shearling ram price along with the top Ram lamb price at the Premier Sale for Charollais sheep at Worcester.
Sale leader was Logie Durno Olympian, who sold for 7000gns to Michael and Melanie Alford at Foxhill.This huge Crogham Lambert son was out of a Rockvilla Golden Promise daughter, showing both power and conformation.
Following on was Logie Durno Pefection at 5500gns, selling to Robert Whittaker. This stylish muscular ram was sired by Logie Durno Officer and a Logie Durno Jackpot daughter.
In total LDS took 7 of the top 10 shearling ram prices.
Looking to the future two new stock sires were purchased to breed with the nucleus ewe flock. First was Rhaeadr Orlando for 5000gns. He was Reserve Champion on the day and third top price behind the two LDS rams. Also jointly purchased was Tymaen Poundstretcher for 4000gns. He was purchased for his size and incredible figures, weighing 83kg at 147 days of age.
